IETUK was borne in 2013 from Mehrban Sadiq’s initial visit at the request of Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer of the Punjab Emergency Service, RESCUE 1122. The request was to undertake an analysis of their needs in respect of medical response and fire and rescue capability. Discussion and consultation centred on the feasibility of their request for assistance, expectations and IETUK’s ability to assist through peer review and technical guidance support.
